Porsche Panamera is the latest car to join the band of heavily priced vehicles in India. That's true. The much awaited 4-door sportscar was launched in India on 1st October, 2009. Designed to offer the most luxurious and comfortable seating as well as driving experience, the Porsche Panamera will be available in three variants. The price of this sportscar Porsche Panamera S range between 1.44 crores to a whopping 2.5 crores for different variants.

Fitted with a 4.8-litre V8, Panamera is actually the first ever 4-door GT sportscar from Porsche. Its pick up is 100km/h in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 283km/h. Entering the Indian car industry, this latest launch with superior mileage and amazing road performance is definite to give tough competition to other luxurious cars like Audi 8 and Mercedes-Benz S Class in the Indian auto sector.
 
Panamera derives its name from the Carrera Panamericana Race. Some of the features that make this recently launched Porsche Panamera stand out include start-stop feature in conguide with automatic transmission, a multi-stage adjustable rear spoiler moving up when needed, front-engine configuration, stylish headlamp shape and arrangement and 911-style curvaceous tail. The latest launch from Porsche also promises to yield better fuel consumption by 1 litre/100km.

The recently launched sedan will soon be available with dealers across the country. The German automaker, Porsche is likely to extend its dealership network to Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Bangalore.
