Ford India has launched its all new hatchback, Ford Figo in India. Ford Figo is available in both petrol and diesel models. The car is specially made keeping Indian road conditions and traffic in mind. The Figo is based on Ford’s Global-B platform and promises to offer, economy, safety and value for money.
Figo comes in four variants both petrol and diesel. The variants are Lxi, Exi, Zxi and Titanium. The overall design of Ford Figo 2010 is rather attractive and muscular with advanced interiors. The Figo petrol is priced between Rs. 3.5-3.75 lakhs and the Figo diesel is priced around Rs.4.20-5.0 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi)..

Engine-
The all new Ford Figo is based on Ford's Global-B platform. The new Figo is available in 2 variants a 70 Bhp DuraTec Petrol and a 68 Bhp DuraTorq Diesel engine. The diesel engine will be the same 1.4 Duratorq 68bhp motor that powers the other Ford cars like Ikon and Fiesta. The petrol engine produces 71PS maximum power at 6,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 102Nm at 4,00rpm. The diesel engine produces 69PS maximum power at 4,000rpm and 160Nm maximum torque at 2,000rpm. Both versions of the Ford Figo come with a 5-speed manual transmission system and have a top speed of 160kmph.
